Iqbal Singh sworn in as new LT Governor

Puducherry, Iqbal Singh was swornin as the 20th Lt Governor of the Union Territory of Puducherry in a simple function held at the Rajnivas today.
Chief Justice of the Madras High Court H L Gokhale, administered the oath of office to Mr Singh.

Puducherry, Officials of the Forest Department here today arrested nine people for defying the ban order on fishing at the Ossudu Lake here.
