India test fires IRBM Agni-II from Wheeler Island

Balasore, India today conducted the users trial of surface-to-surface Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile (IRBM) Agni-11 from the launching complex-1V at the Wheeler’s Island near Dhamra off Orissa coast.
The two-stage surface-to-surface missile, powered by solid propellants, was test fired at 1008 hrs, Integrated Test Range (ITR) sources said.
