Galla hospitaliged, condition stable

Tirupati (chittoor district), State Minister for Roads and buildings Mrs Galla Arunakumari was admitted to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) here today.

The Minister, who was proceeding to inaugurate a government project at Vedurukuppam Mandal from her house (premises of Amaraja Industries) at Karakambadi near Renigunta , felt dizzy and her face bagan to swell due to low blood pressure.

With difficulty in breathing, she immediately went back to her residence from where she was shifted to SVIMS.

SVIMS Director Dr. G. Subramanyam, who was taking part in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Sri Venkateswara Medical College, rushed to the hospital and got her admitted to the cardiology department.

After treatment, her condition wasstated to be stable. On medical advice, she is on rest at the special ward, and is likely to be discharged tomorrow, according to doctors.

Industralist Mr Galla Ramachandra Naidu Galla, said she responded quickly to the treatment and recouped immediately.

Several Congress leaders also visisted the hospital and enquired about her condition.
