Congress lambasts Nitish govt on woman stripping issue

Patna, Congress today expressed its deep concern over the stripping of a woman in state capital yesterday and described it as the failure of Nitish Kumar government in improving law and order situation in the state.

President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) Anil Kumar Sharma said that the Nitish Kumar government had abjectly failed in providing security to life and property of the common man in the state.

”The stripping of a women in full public view in Patna was such an incident, which could not be dismissed as a routine nature of crime,”, he said adding the Chief Minister who never fails to claim of providing good governance, should feel ashamed.
