Con women drug mother, daughter, escape with Rs 10,000

Chennai, Two women drugged a mother and her daughter and made away with Rs 10,000 cash from their house last evening at suburban Peravallur.
Police said Vatsala Devi(50), wife of Railway employee Rajasekar, along with her daughter Divya(18) were busy in their kitchen when someone knocked the door.
Divya opened the door only to see two women pressing a kerchief, laced with sedative, on her face. She immediately fell unconscious.
They later went to the kitchen and confronted Vatsala Devi, who was shocked to find unknown women gaining entry into the house freely.
Before she could react, the con women again pressed the kerchief on her face and she too lost her conciousness.
The women duo then emptied the almirah and made away with Rs 10,000 cash. However, they did not touch the jewellery.
Peravallur Police visited the spot and formed teams to nab the con women.
