Change of command in Black Cat Division

Gangtok, Major General Ravinder Singh Chopra has taken command as the new GOC of the elite Black Cat Division (17th Mountain Division) which looks after the military affairs in the border state of Sikkim.
Major General Chopra replaces Major General Sanjiv Chachra as the new GOC of the 17th Mountain Division.
The formal transfer of command was held yesterday at the headquarters of the division here at Libing.
Major General Chachra has left for Delhi to his new posting in the Ministry of Defence.
